The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI), a leader in transportation-related research and part of the American Trucking Associations (ATA), released the following information about how the trucking industry relates to West Virginia’s economy:

HVUT

HVUT is the Heavy Vehicle Use Tax that is a fee assessed annually on heavy vehicles operating on public highways at registered gross weights equal to or exceeding 55,000 pounds.

IFTA
